| | Boom Shade - Julie sewed a sunbrella boom shade. I added 6 1/2" grommets to the corners and edges. I attach it with bungee lengths made from some 1/4 bungee cord. Material and grommets purchased from Sailrite |
| | Head Vent - I took a bilge blower and mounted in the head to exhaust to the cockpit. I wired the blower in series with the bulb in the head light to reduce its speed. The light has two positions. On one I have LEDs, the other the bulb and blower. |
| | Sheet Handling - This step saver is a heavy duty swivel cam cleat that mounts to the genoa track. It allows tacking from the helm. Available from Bill at http://www.boats4sail.info or email b4sail@att.net |
| | Nav Area - Shows DSC radio, WHAM wireless mic, battery meter, new homemade switch panel, tide clock etc. |
| | Lazy Jacks - This picture shows my homemade lazy jacks. I used a spool of 1/4 bungee to make this and other items. |
| | 18" Wheel - This shows the 18" wheel replacing the standard 15". The autopilot mods are shown in another section. |
| | Chartplotter - I use a Toshiba Pocket PC running OZI explorer as my chartplotter. I scan my paper charts. Much cheaper than digital charts and I want paper backup anyway. |
| | Dodger - This is our Dodger available from Blue Water Yachts www.bwyachts.com |
| | Swim Steps / Grab Handle I took some readwood slats from a scrapped Sunbeam Bar-B-Que and modified them as steps for the ladder. Much easier on the feet. Next to steps is the stainless grab handle. |
| | Various Cockpit Mods - A few additional mods around the cockpit area. |
